DIgSILENT Pacific continues to be very active in the area of wind energy. We help enable wind energy projects through our comprehensive consultancy services including reticulation system design, grid connection studies and fault ride through analysis. This allows us to help developers negotiate a connection agreement with AEMO and/or the Transmission Network Service Provider (TNSP). Currently DIgSILENT Pacific is working with developers of several large wind-farms with rating in excess of 100 MW. These include the proposed Bald Hills wind-farm in Gippsland and the proposed Glen Innes wind-farm in NSW.

DIgSILENT consultancy relies on the unique modelling functionalities of the PowerFactory Software that enables us to simulate wind-farm and electrical network performance in detail including steady state, time domain and frequency domain analysis. Wind-farm consultancy services are provided to wind farm developers, financiers as well as power utilities for wind-farms across Australia and New Zealand.
