DIgSILENT Pacific PowerFactory Users' Group Meeting 10th-11th June 2009

Following on from the success of the first Australia/Pacific PowerFactory Users' Group meeting in 2007, DIgSILENT Pacific will be hosting the second users' group meeting in June 2009. DIgSILENT Pacific has arranged to host the meeting in the same venue as the last meeting, the Park Hyatt near Parliament house close to the Melbourne CBD.

Attending from DIgSILENT GmbH in Germany will be Flavio Fernandez. Flavio has many years experience in power system consultancy and has considerable expertise in insulation co-ordination and EMT studies. Flavio will be presenting a paper titled 'Design of Wind-Diesel systems for small island applications".

DIgSILENT Pacific would like to extend a warm invitation to all users of PowerFactory in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands to attend the meeting. As usual there will be several technical papers presented by DIgSILENT staff and from other users of the PowerFactory software. Such papers provide a great opportunity to see how other companies are using the software and enables the collaborative sharing of 'best practice' techniques.
